The Fox has been taken from her hole and is being locked in a cage. A year of several probation violations has landed the song bird in jail for a year. The 28-year-old, born Inga Marchand, is on probation for a 2004 assault on two manicurists at a downtown nail salon.
Upon Brown's deciding court hearing the Judge said, "I'm not going to give you any more chances," Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson told the female rapper. "I hope you turn your life around and never again have to stand in a court of law."
Foxy Brown broke out into sobs upon hearing the verdict. Her mother was there to offer support. According to E! Online Brown will begin serving her jail term immediately, most likely at Rikers Island where the pregnant emcee may give birth to her first child. She earlier turned down a jail time for 9 months.
