Yelling...temper tantrums...vowing to never come back to MTV again?? Is Kanye West STILL a sore loser? Well according to AP Entertainment Mr. "Faster, Stronger", "threw a tantrum backstage" in front of the media and crew on Sunday night as the MTV VMA's were coming to it's yearly close. The highly emotive rap lyricist began yelling about losing all five categories that he was nominated for as he stood by for an elevator to arrive. I can only imagine the high strung West standing there pouting, angrily plodding his feet and audibly sharing his poor me story of a genius man boy who lost yet again to a obviously dim witted voting system (according to him).
This is actually what the guy said, "That's two years in a row, man ... give a black man a chance," he fumed, stomping around his entourage and directing his comments at a reporter. "I'm trying hard man, I have the ... No. 1 record, man."
Boo hoo Kanye. Maybe this is a small ploy to bring about more hype on the eve's eve of his impending success with "Graduation" over rap rival 50 cent's, "Curtis" with their dual album release on September 11th. Naw...i take that back. Kanye knows he's gonna outsell 50, 50 knows he's gonna be outsold, the whole industy and fans know...so this is probably just another spoiled yet sincere and "misunderstood" outbreak from the 31 year old Mr. West himself. Age aint nuttin but a number. Dude's a loose cannon, last year he crashed the stage at the MTV Europe Awards after not winning for best video. And he continues to say whatever he damn well pleases in front of the camera or on the radio. Insert foot in mouth, but on purpose. Well at least we can always count on Kanye to keep it real and give us a little extra entertainment. Gotta love that guy. As my younger sister says, "He keeps me young."
