Ike at the 49th annual grammys with his awardThe 1950's notorious black rocker, Ike Turner passed away in his home yesterday, December 12th (on my birthday!).
Turner received a trophy for best traditional blues album at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards earlier this year on February 11th.
At this time the cause of death is unknown. He was 76 years old.

It just really sucks to be Ike Turner. He will only be remembered as the drug- crazed abusive husband to successful Tina Turner. The end. I hope he got to redeem himself before he passed away. Just sad.
