George Clooney receives French Film Honor

The sexy salt and pepper haired actor/director was honored in Deauville, France today with the, "Chevalier des Arts et Lettres" medal for his achievements in film by French Culture Minister Christine Albanel on the fringes of the American Film Festival- according to China View. George Clooney has become popular from such films as: Brother Where Art Thou, The Perfect Storm and who can forget Ocean's 11,12, or 13?!! But I first remember this skilled thespian from his days on the night time drama soap, Sisters, where he lit up the screen as one of the "lucky" sister's handsome and manly love interest. That was a good show...what happened? Oh well the point is Clooney has come a long way in Hollywood and always seems to be the same age, 40 something. Hopefully he will still look the same in 20 more years so he can keep making movies that women love to watch. He's steady, stable, and sizzling.

Currently the newly meddled man is promoting his film, Michael Clayton in which he plays a "fixer" for a major New York law firm. His previous film promotion stops include, Venice Italy last week. When he is not filming George is not a sit around and collect royalties entertainer. He has used his fame to raise awareness of issues like that of the violence in the Darfur region of western Sudan. Good for him and for those who get the blessing.
